Good portions, service was good , food was okay but their cookies are great

Very friendly staff. Food was great and piping hot on a very cold and windy day. We stopped here while passing through Colby. They worked with us for food allergies and even provided coffee to go at no cost. All three of us were very happy with the food. Prices were very fair. Definitely comfort food! More like home cooked than a commercial kitchen. Overall a great experience! Thank you for the great service and the great food!

What a great find. We were just driving through Kansas and stopped to get gas. A local suggested this place. Wonderful burgers!

The food was good. Even my picky daughter liked her lunch. Service was good too considering we were there just before closing.

Nice cozy,family place, clean, seemed understaffed, had 1 waitress and she was busy, but nice, I had the chicken fry, real mashed potatoes, rather small portion of potatoes, as you can see from picture, green beans were cold, tasty but cold, overall I gave a 3, understanding how busy the 1 waitress was, on the food itself, I would give 2, I would try another place next time, and didn't take leftover with me, price was a little high at 15.99, maybe I got the wrong cook,

Wanted breakfast but learned they only had a sandwich. Decided chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, corn, and roll. Really good and filling portion size. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Good stop!

Great food, great restaurant. May seem sketch bring inside an old outlet mall, but well worth the time. Not recommended if your in a hurry,everything is from scratch.

Best stop if you’re passing through! The city of Colby has so many food chain restaurants but if you’re gonna spend $10 for a meal you should just come here! Best country fried steak, great service, and warm cookies when given your check! Wish this restaurant was closer to home because I will 100% go back!

Best Hot Beef sandwich I,ve ever had.

For a little place it packs a punch. Our table had the chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chuck steak, grilled cheese and chicken bits. It was all excellent and we would definitely eat there again.

Had to go to Colby for the day, so we looked online in advance, for a place to have lunch. Reviews prompted us to try this place, and it was nice. They have a great salad bar! The onion rings were maybe the best I've had, very crispy. Husband said the chicken fried steak was good, but ordinary - not sure why it's award winning, we expected it to have outstanding seasonings or something, but he said it was good. The service was very good, friendly, and everything seemed clean. Bonus chocolate chip cookies at the end were a surprise! We enjoyed it overall.

Good food, friendly staff...I accidentally left my purse in the seat when we left and as we were driving out of the parking area, the sweet server from the restaurant ran out in 17 degree weather to bring my purse to me! Wow! Thank you!!!

Food was good. My husband and I split the chicken fried chicken dinner and it was enough for both of us. Prices were a little high though.

Enjoyed my lunch here. Chicken fried steak was fresh made and good. Perhaps not award winning but better than most. It was a 120 mile drive that I will make again and again.Thanks for the experience

We saw the billboard outside of town advertising AWARD WINNING country fried steak. It's my favorite food, so I decided I needed to give it a go. It was definitely home-cooked, and I imagine to many it would be the best they've had, but it was only so-so in my opinion. Portions were big, but I don't think I'd stop again.

Fast and friendly service with great home style meals. Stopped here on my way to Denver and on my way back. Great place for a quick bite when you've been on the road all day.

Food is fantastic, love the salad bar, and the personnel are helpful and friendly. They also smile a lot. I hate when I go into a business and am greeted by a bunch of frowns. That doesnt happen here.

Good food inexpensive peices and a good staff. I ordered the chicken fried stake and it was a great size portion. Plus the potatoes and corn were great. But i really enjoyed the warm chocolate chip the waitress brought to me as i was leaving.

A hidden gem along I 70. We had the open faced burgers with green chili, delicious. Very generous portions and very friendly staff.

Very sweet staff. Home/granny style cooking. Almost everything seem like a fair price, some of the entrees were a little higher but they have a wide variety of choices. Salad bar was fresh even though they weren't too busy. And a bonus fresh chocolate chip cookie at the end!

Food is really good.

We were coming back from Colorado and stopped in to eat here. I understand that Sunday after church crowd can annihilate a place, but if you know this happens, there should be at least another person to help out. It took a while to get a seat, it took a while to get our drinks, the salad bar was decimated and I had to ask for someone cleaning a table to get more for the bar. The food was okay.
